We are seeking Customer Service Representatives for our Boardman, OH office to answer client service calls accurately and effectively, to provide exceptional service to our customers and to handle all responsibilities with the utmost professionalism. Responsibilities will include:
  • Handling inbound customer service calls regarding benefit inquiries, claim status and payment information from our insureds and providers.
  • Working directly with sales agents and brokers to obtain information regarding client status.
  • Assisting with telephonic applications for prospective customers.
  • Assisting with insurance claims, including investigating and helping to solve or escalate issues to appropriate staff.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate claim files, call logs and other applicable records.
  • Maintaining privacy/confidentiality following HIPAA and company guidelines.
  • Processing service requests, as needed. Required skills and Experience:
  • Excellent communication/phone etiquette skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and team focus
  • Knowledge of medical/dental terminology preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong research, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy regulations a plus
  • Spanish/English Bilingual speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be able to work a rotational 37.5 hour workweek between the hours of 7 am - 6 pm and have the flexibility to occasionally work different hours based on customer needs in the future.
